About
"Lords of War and Money" appeared in May 2008. It is a non-commercial project, it is a free online service from gamers, for gamers. People from all over the planet become part of a breathtaking and intriguing world of ancient creatures and heroes.
The game is supported by all modern browsers (Mozilla Firefox is recommended). Usage of newest Flash technologies allows creating most impressing battles without installing any additional files or clients on your computer. Due to that the game requirements for your PC's characteristics and your Internet connection are minimal.
Factions
The world of Lords of W&M is populated by a great number of races and creatures. Lords of every faction have their unique features and control certain creatures. That is why, it is very important for the player to choose the most appropriate faction when beginning to play. The character’s faction can be changed nearly anytime in your castle.
There are currently seven factions in the game:-
1. Knight
BRAVE WARRIORS AND ALWAYS LOYAL TO THE CROWN.
2. Necromancer
THE UNDEAD CONTROLLER AND YOU CAN SAY MASTER IN DEATH SKILLS
3. Wizard
Magical warlord expert in magic skills.
4. Elf
Elves are beautiful and patient and live in close harmony with the Earth.
5. Barbarian
This faction fits mostly for implacable and aggressively disposed players.
6. Dark elf
Dark elves hold an innate interest to the magical forces of nature connected with destruction.
7. Demon
Monsters of the underworld that fight for chaos, bloodshed and suffering during all their lives.
(There is one more faction but it is currently under development)
Popularity
This game is critically popular as in just 2 year it has been joined by more than 5.5 hundred thousand players and the number is increasing rapidly. |

It's dependent on what curriculum level you are working to. If I were to write on LordsWM I would explore the social implications of the game.
Try looking at how the game could be viewed as a social experiment by the administration. That would be an interesting topic to explore if you are looking for some depth.
Discuss how players log on to enter a code every hour for most hours of the days and the implications for that player of not entering that code and earning enough gold. You could take it beyond the game and relate it to the Lost television series, (if you are familiar with it) and the need to push the button in the vault every 108 minutes in the 2nd season. ;) |
Don't say that, at least he didn't decide to write about facebook which I guess will be the main topic for the majority there. Write about it and add a referal link on the end ehehehe ;)
Tipis you say ? It's the most well-made game I've ever played on a browser, I'm sure there are a lot to write. Like ... "roulette is evil" or ... "any faction can be the best but ..." or ... "Add bunny in your profile to gain world domination" and don't forget to say that Hallion91 playes this game, I attract many people ;) |

| Think about 2-3 negative factors about this game too... don't make them sound too bad because you don't want to make this game look awful but think about the rules you might want to change in the game and the opinion of other players about the game. |
