| It's not like 1 shot and it's over. This goes for whether taking a shot or giving the shot with monk. Evasion would be better than morale and initiative in a shooting war. |

team with elf or barbarian. im sure your xbow will be safe for first turn. |

i think to make xbow turn come faster only initiative arts will help
but idk if that will help enough so they can shoot before gmb or orc.
you could try the scouts cape it is only 1 ap and will give you another 5% less damage from ranged. maybe with shield ally, avoidance, and guard shield more will survive.
after surviving the first round...

Bottom line you cannot keep x-bow alive if opponents want them dead and are strong ranged (elf, barbarien etc.)
Accept it and be happy that ranged don't hurt guards that much. X-bow will either survive or give the rest some time to get into position or be buffed. Either way knight have good possibilities to hurt the ranged in the end |
xbow were slow. you need alot xbow to survive the 1st turn in order to attack. sum up with unstable dmg gap, xbow hardly make a killing blow with low amount.
NEVER EVER bet your strength on xbow in any PvP.
