Hi,
I just fought against a player with no units in ambush. I thought it would be fair to "share" the gold. Does such transfers fall under gift rules, even though I still have 90 gold left for me? | its perfectly legal to return the ambush gold.
In fact, there are many thieves that do it and even 95% returns it if you ask for it. And some always send 100 gold because they are too lazy to check for the exact amount :P | 3.15. Presents must not exceed 10,000 gold * [Combat level of the grantor] + 250 * [Diamonds obtained by the grantor through donations] per month.
This means you can gift up to a combined total of 110k each month. I'm not sure if paying travelers back is considered a gift or not, but normally such small amounts don't make a dent in the gift rules. It would be quite exceptional if you gifted 109k in a month and then ambushed 11 players, which you gave 100 gold to each person. And thus exceeding your limit by 100 gold. | Oh... It's a monthly limit? Dunno why, I thought 10 years old gift where still taken in account. I was making things much more complex than they actually are.
Very well, then, gift or not, it doesn't really matter.
