Author | Remove Achievements [Blocked Players] |
This idea is all about achievement.
Many of us, play games for achievements.
Well, some of us succeeded,
And some of us FAILED.
Some of us that succeeded was BLOCKED
And some of us that FAILED felt DISAPPOINTED.
So, There are many reasons that BLOCKED players doesn't need having achievements.
BLOCKED players who have achievement is BLOCKING other players from gaining an achievement.
Thank you, comment well. |
+1 A blocked player deserves no accolades. |

A player is blocked bcz he does not deserve to play bcz he broke the rules.
S, he shud have no achievements!! |
hunt records only?
Or for Survival Tournaments as well?
And what if the player is blocked by own will?
What if the player gets unblocked? |

Don't forget, there isn't any person that is always right. Sometimes even admins/juries can make a little mistake in really hard situation. I've seen some cases where a player get pennalty/ or blocked for nothing or because of problem with rules (i won't give any concretize case because of forum rule 5.1, those words are abstract). Also, what if the player is blocked by own will? Or is blocked for insulting via Pm, SHL, or something like that (cases which haven't got any influence on battle process)? Why in that case he should lose his achievments? |

admin time = VERY precious commodity on .com
It would be a waste to spend their time on blocked cheaters rather than on event creation. |

First of all, I don't see how a getting illegal financial help negates the fact that someone defeated 1000 sprites at level 7. The achievement still happened. The fact that a player got banned later, does not undo the achievement.
Secondly, if a player is banned and then unbanned, who is going to spend hours figuring out what achievements he/she should have restored? |

Perfectly agreed with Flour

And those who failed don't deserve any achievement. |
I'm going to have to agree with the +1 category on this one.
I think granting achievements only for those not found cheating would make for another good reason to ensure players continue to play fair. Besides, what does it say about a game and community that acknowledges an achievement of someone who cheated? It's the equivalent of a steroids user on a professional sports team...
The problem then is the - albeit far and in between - case, where a player is blocked and then mysteriously unblocked (I say mysteriously due to Empire's profile page). I don't think solving this would be such a dilemma however. Blocking players, I think, should be the temporary solution. An ultimate deletion of that character would be the final step, let's say after a full examination into their case has been closed. With their absolute removal it should free up the slot and allow the honest players to claim it if they can. |

+1 but only if the character is permanently blocked (meaning he has no chance to come back and play) |

If some player could kill 1000 zombies and got blocked, why he has to lose it?

4. Any idea should have a purpose and describe the means of it's realization. It should also answer the question: "Why it needs to be done?". |
