Does the diagonal count as adjacent for Shield allies?
Shield allies:
The creature shields all adjacent allies with its huge shield. As a result, those allies take only 75% ranged damage |
yes it count |
Any stack that is on one of the 8 squares around the guardians will be affected by shield allies. |
Yes it counts .. :) Imagine if they are also given evasion .. then the ranged ones there will do very less damages .. :) |
75% + evasion 75% = 150% If enemy shoots it it will deal 50% heal to the target, real? |
75% + evasion 75% = 150% If enemy shoots it it will deal 50% heal to the target, real?
No. in your case range do 6.25% ( 100x(0.25)^2) |
No, it is not additive. The figures do not simply just add like that. It is multiplication. So, it is a 6.25% damage as stated by xlaw. Therefore, it is impossible to completely nullify the ranged damage received to 0%. Please do not confuse yourself, LightningShadow. |
Answering sonoob's question, yes it does count.
Sorry for the double post. :P |
Yikes! Perhaps this thread should have stopped at post #3. Where do you guys get these numbers?
Shield allies reduces ranged damage by 25%. Evasion, at Expert level, reduces ranged damage by 70%.
I'll leave you guys to work out the math. |
