Has anybody ever seen it triggering?
According to discription half of my stack should fade away.

Already noticing before it wont trigger, I let them hit Vamps 14 times this battle and expected 3.5 devour but nothing happens...
Maybe mistake in discription? Does only Voc. Anglerfish got devour? If so, please tell me, havent seen devour by Voc. Anglerfish as well. |

When each hit got probability of 25% u expect it triggering 3.5 times in 14 hits.
But stil asking: Has anybody ever seen it triggering?
I dont, neither in hunts, mercs nor in ST. |

I... Have a slight... Memory here... I think it was said that the creature-card for Anglerfish is faulty.
It is supposed to be the "Voracious Anglerfish" that has devour, and not the normal Anglerfish.
But don't take that as written in stone, I could be wrong. |
| I haven`t noticed the triggering yet as well. if the chance is constant, it would mean, that 1 anglerfish may swallow half of the guardians you have, for example. remember a similar ability of death knights in HoMM 5 called fatal blow or something like that, was awesome... |

I have noticed that ability and was weary of it every time I faced them.
I don't know if the ability works or not, but I'm pretty sure 1 stack of the VA hit my Angels and 1 stack perished during an ST.
Given my full-arts Angel's defense, that's not possible if some sort of ability didn't trigger. I guess, and it's just a guess), the ability is 'modified' to kill 1 full stack whenever it triggers, similar to Harvest Soul ability.
But don't quote me. :) |
On .ru the ability of Anglerfish and Voracious Anglerfish sounds as:
Every attack or retaliation kills at least 1 creature in stack. Attack kills exactly +1 creature more. |
