Author | Guide for a lvl 2 newb |
no real exp, just nagging by some stupid sebastianckx guy who wants me to fail. Elf, what should be my army setup, activities etc |
at your lvl, full forrestkepper and then faeries |
Look how other successful people play at your level. (e.g. taking retr, hit and run and so on). |
Have max amount of single forest keepers to take retal before to hit with your big stack of fk, kill at first single stacks of your opponent, and, when fighting factions with shooters, block them by putting one of your units next to it... Then, it won't be able to shoot unless your troop dies. |
i don't understand. You mean i should lose all my faeries for FKs and divy them into maximum amount of 1 troop stacks? |
if u atk any stack first time,it also attack back or retaliate.next time it does not responds until its turn comes,so make some 1 stack of forest keeper to take that 'retal' and then attack it with big stack of forest.
for shooters u can block them with sprites,if any creature stand next to shooter it cant shoot. |
What if i want to change faction? What's the strongest 1 at my crrent lvl |
knight mayb.if u know how to play.but the thing is level 2 won't last long, and in level 3 elf is quite strong:) |
There is a thread dedicated to elven tactics here: https://www.lordswm.com/forum_messages.php?tid=1898504
However, very little is said about lvl 2, since most people doesn't stay there for very long.
At level 3 elves get shooters, and you'll be very strong for a good while then. ;) |
for Agelage:
level2's cant post on general game forum so there wont be anything about level2's and he cant ask questions |
He doesn't need to ask questions, he should just read the thread. Reading about tactics and other things related to his race is a good way to know what to look forward to, which levels are hard, and so on.
So, that thread is still the best thread for him. |

Yes, that's it. Get first hit on the ennemy, and use at the best those single fk. That's all you need to be a good player early in, wathever be your faction, but that's harder than it sounds. That's for PvP, that is; against AI (hunts,...), the best way is to experiment yourself, you'll then get to know what it will do on its next turn (just exploit its weaknesses).
For advanced strategy, indeed, the link Agelage gave is the best way to go. I'm not an elf anyway, so I can't help about that. |
