thomasio21 went afk on me in a battle. I think that if you cannot be present in a battle, you should not accept it. Not only did i loose good cash from it, but i also lost a lot of EXP. what will be done about this? I have expåerienced a LOT of people accepting to help, but they just go AFK instead...

Thanks | i also lost a lot of EXP
You can not lose experience. Unfortunately that only adds up.
I have experienced a LOT of people accepting to help, but they just go AFK instead...
Level up! At higher level (10-ish and beyond) there are fewer AFK's (don't misunderstand me, they don't totally disappear, but they are much fewer than lower levels).
So just keep playing and report when it happens. And then go back to playing some more... | Naviron, off course i Lost experience. In the fact, that i did not win the fight, because of that, i lost potential unknown amount of exp. :-)
I know it's odd... ;-) | Topic moved from "General game forum" to "Queries and help". | Any hunt that you don't win will come up again. So those 350 Bandits, or those 66 Succubi, etc..., sooner or later, they will show up again in your hunt.
So the EXP perse was not lost, not even potentially as you might have won. Sooner or later, you will get that EXP when that hunt will show up again (which will do!). So it is only *delayed*, not lost.
You could argue that you lost the time, or the gold for the durability of the arts. True... But on the bright side, the gold you lost for arts is not that much, and besides you actually did get some EXP from losing the hunt. If you add this to the EXP you will get when you will win this hunt (will show up again until you win it!), then at the end of the day, in sum, you'll have gained more EXP from this one hunt.
So cheer up! You didn't irremediably lose any EXP....
You lost a combat, but losing is learning! You learn more from losing a combat than from winning it.
(In chess we say the best match is the one in which you lose! -- hint hint...) | Hmmm Naviron... I had no idea that the assignments in combar against monsters, would arise again, if I did not win the first time. :-) |
