Hiya all,
What exactly is the cost per battle for a Light Axe + Defender Shield?
I have a few links relating to this, and they all seems to gives different prices (?) -
1. Witchhammer .ru ==> 52.25 per battle
2. Witchhammer English ==> 41 per battle
3. ordenmira.ru ==> 43 per battle
4. lordswm.org (LITWIN's site) ==> 46.77 per battle
I mean, how can a 'simple' calculation of 2 arts have so many different equations?
And of course, this is just an example. If we follow the 'wrong' guide, then all the other combinations will probably be wrong too, and could cost us tons of gold in the long run.
Is there any definitive guide here?

| In my oppinion, this difference is caused by the next fact: some services take prices of shield+axe from the artifact shop, some - from the market and etc. |
| It also deepends if you calculate the resell value and what prices you use for wood and so on. |
Prices on .ru are slightly different than here. For pretty much all things: resources and consequently, arts.
So it is understandable that witchhammer.ru has a different price than witchhammer-English and lordswm.org.
Why the last ones (withhammer-English vs. lordswm.org) differ, I couldn't say. They shouldn't. |
4. lordswm.org (LITWIN's site) ==> 46.77 per battle
Example: Defender Shield.
Method used:
Shop price: 3300
Factory price: 3120 + 1 wood = 3120 + 183 = 3303 (in my site is 3300, this is bad value - i must correct it...)
Item durability: 40
3303 / 40 = 82.57500
------------------
But we use and sell them, so we must calculate USAGE price.
USAGE = BUY- SELL (0/max_dur)
USAGE = 3303 - 2219 = 1084
1084 / 40 = 27.1
---------------------
On my page is price 27.05.

- there are 2 ways to get this item:
1. shop (usage 27.03)
2. factory (usage 27.05)

As You see, in items page are column "in game shop" - this is amount of items in game shop. Updated every 8h. If amount is fall to zero, this line "SHOP" will be replaced with map where you can buy this item. And also usage price will be changed from 27.03 to 27.05.
I can do small mistakes, like this one, wrong price (3.303 in factory and 3.301 in my site) Sometime admins change them on map. And i have old values... (2935 gold + 2 woods). If someone catch this, please send me mail or PM, i correct this.

Shop price (in my site, its wrong value) = 3
1081 / 40 = 27,02500
i round them to 2 numbers = 27.03. |

Yes, I understand. But the difference between shop and facility price is like.. 0.02 gold.
So how did people calculate and get almost.. 6 gold difference (??)

And this is for a 'cheap' art. Can't imagine what the difference would be for the higher level arts.. |

i think, my method of calculate prices is correct.
Due to bad start of defender shield price (2 gold),
this is near real price.
I round them, but this is small amount.
If You think, that my calculation is bad, tell me where i do a mistake. |

mods pls delete the above post, wrote it with my alt by accident.
its because light axe used to cost 500 gold + 1 wood + 1 ore, but it changed last time we got new arts, now it costs 685 + 1 wood + 1 ore.
but witchhammer is not updated and thats why there is difference between litwins and witchhammer site. |

He evaluated wood at (2219 - 1670) / 3 = 183 gold (the cheapest price possible). |

There is no exact formula, at least no formula that I know of.
The value is calculated based on previous experience. In other words, at some time ago LITWIN had a defender shield that was 0/40 and wrote down what the price was.
This is pretty much true for all other prices as well. |
