They are the skill points for your faction. The "skill points" you gained at the end of every battle goes towards the faction you are currently playing.
They go towards leveling up on your faction level. You get bonus when you level up on your faction. The bonus (Faction skill table) can be found here,

You also get faction resistance (3% per faction level) against other factions for every faction level you get for a specific faction. |
| Each faction has their own special ability. Since you are a wizard, your mini-artifacts get stronger as your faction level increases. Also, your faction level will give your spells get a damage boost on neutral creatures (neutral creatures are creatures in hunts and mercenary quests) and creatures in the survival tournaments. |
