*Azgaroth gape with open mouth
Bug? |
As a default, the game provides a character of any faction who is traveling without any armies recruited with Monks. It is the automatic group that is given so that an ambushed character doesn't have '0' troops. |
for Skunder:
dude that's true but you see the thief was not travelling. He ambushed:P |
Just assumed it was the old question...didn't open the link. As an upright citizen of the Empire I refrain from ambushing, as is, maybe a more...IR-reputable citizen could chime in on this then... =P |
I tried to set up an ambush without any troops and it won't let me so I have no clue what happened :/ |
As we can see by the ID of battle it's an "old" battle (I guess).
So probably, sometime ago it was possible to set ambush without troops recruited. |

I too thought so. May be we are right? |
Weird... but it's not that old, you can see that the field is huge, not the small one that used to be there |

I never heard of thieves being able to ambush with monks (other than lvl 8+ knights). Monks were given to victims who were overpowered by higher lvl thieves. They are also given to victims who travel with no troops. |

I have checked the link and find that the battle is happened on 11-15-09 11:03. |
whats so weird? monks just happened to be walking on wrong place at very wrong time could happen to anyone |
Even long ago you used to get the "Troops are not organized..." when you had too few troops. And ambushes were not possible to set up.
November 15th... Don't think there was an event then either. |
