| I don't know if it changes much in later in the game, but the early lvl fights are heavily dependent on luck, and the enemy wins with 1-3 low units just because I roll minimum damage in a crucial strike. I know the damage is random even in M&M games, but there it doesn't matter that much because your army is not limited, and you don't fight others at start. Now, if pvp is so frustrating, I might as well quit. |
It doesn't change much in later in the game. Battles are still heavily dependent on luck. But this game involves more strategy than I've seen you exhibit.
I saw your battlechats. I don't think pvp frustrates you. Losing does. |

It maybe bcause battle might had started before you checked.But it can also be a technical problem.It happened to me in my first turn.I got just 30 sec while others got >120 seconds.
Also hunt more and rise your hunter guild lvl.It can be useful as it grands 1 attack per lvl.Also try to take garg's retaliation with 1 FK before hitting with main stack. |

This game is by far the most [fill in all the positive phrases here] of the many online games I have player, and I have played my fair share.
Each faction is strong at different combat levels. Don't compare or give up just cuz you lost some battles. If one faction is the strongest, then all of the higher level player would be in that one single faction, right? But that's not the case, so go think about it. :)
And go read up on stuff like the Experience Tables of the various guilds, and special abilities of your/enemy's troops. All these small little things will give you a huge advantage in battles, esp at early levels, against opponents who don't know about such things. |
Elf is weak?
Yeah, at levels 1-2 they are maybe weak (maybe also on very high levels they are not strong).
But on levels 3-6 they are definitely the strongest faction in the game.
If everything depends only on Luck then you don't have to think at all, you will win from time to time anyway :)
Don't worry about wizards, because everything depends only on their Wizard faction level:
1) low faction level = very weak Wizard (easy target)
2) high faction level = very strong Wizard (almost unbeatable in PvP)
Wizards don't need luck, they need only high faction level and they don't need to have brains to win battle if they have high faction level.
Actually the most important thing in this game is Enrolling (not luck). |
I am a new player in the game, and like you I had trouble in the beginning, but once you get your Archers, you will dominate your enemies. They really make a difference later on, you will see, just make sure you defend your Archers with other troops, like everyone said, its not luck, its strategy...
Also, one of the experienced players once told me Elf Druids are the best level 5 unit among all races? I cant complain, they are really awesome, I am thinking they might be one of the best races at level 3-5... Later on I cant say really :) |
sure, luck play important role here. also, some factions will have absolute advantage at certain level gap.
thing will change from level 8 where you will have alot bigger troops size, better recruitment, more talent point to try, better artifacts and so on...
in additional, it also need your correspond fsp on the faction you played. even thing change at level 8, it doesnt mean your lv8 knight with faction level 0 will have chance to win :)
Any faction can be the best; BUT definitely not the one you are playing now. © |

damn, LWM should make knight god-like. Why it is freaking hard to do high level MQ quest? Why is it that knight dun have mana-stealing ability to steal mana from wizard? Why does demon have that ability? Why does elf have elven bowmen that is a powerful range unit? Why does LWM AI so freaking clever? |
| I actually switched to elves, because forest keepers seem uncomparably good, compared to pathetic demons. Now I would want to reset my char and start with wizard or DE, but since there's no reset option, I'll stick with elves. Or should I just make new account, and own like those dudes who have 30:0? |

Demons are real strong after lvl 5 though elves rule till 8.
As i said see some lvl 15 fights for all factions and then make a choice and stick to it as faction skill is very important.
And also there is no faction such as unbeatable.
Each faction has an opponent faction too easy and too tough beat on each lvl |
| Watch several of your battles. I just saw your tactics, hmmm, not that good and also no respect to your opponents. The better way to play this game improving own skills instead of crying on the forum. :-D |
