He is level 1 so :
Try to hunt each 15 to 20 mins by clicking on map. Avoid Duel and Group Battle until level 3+.
Remember to enroll each hour for your wage.
Hunts will give you bonus attack and Enrolls will give you defence bonus, as suggested DarkSmooth take a look on the Help Board.
