Sorry guys, i know this is a really noob-ish question, but im sorta stuck for an answer. Could someone please explain to me what is the point of having equipment on heroes?
For example, if i bought a shield for my hero and it gave me 2 defense for example, how does this benefit my hero, as my hero doesn't even get attacked or anything so i guess theres no point in defence...right? |

| Your troops get better def,attack,initiative as you equip items on your hero. |
Whatever art(s) you wear on your Hero will be added onto your army stats in battle.
So lets say your Goblins have +1 Defense in battles where you wear no arts, wearing a shield with +1 Defense will give your Goblins +2 Defense in battle.

also, some bonus will apply to both hero and troops.
increase attack parameter not only for your troops, it also increase the damage deal by hero |
| battle spirit and luck are also variable by equipment. it all affects your army unless the opposite stated in the items description. |
