How does the damage multiplier work to multiplying base damage if
I have 180% enchanted weapons (I12E12A12W12F12) x 3
Ignore doesnt really apply as creature defence is 0
And a bow of mignight still (+18%) ranged damage
It is a ranged attack so the bow will apply
Anybody know the answer? looking for a base damage multiplier

12% + 12% (1-12%) + 12% (1-(12% + 12% (1-12%))
12% + 10.56% + 9.2928%
= 31.8528%
31.8528% x 5 = 159.264% |

To work out the multiplier with the bow would it just be BASE DAMAGE x 1.18? |
I'm unsure whether that 18% counts as part of the base or not.
Also in my above calculation I treated the I12 like the other enchants. So to be technical I should say:
31.8528% x 4 elemental damage
and
31.8528% ignore defense |

So it'd be right to assume that damage=
normal damage x (4 x 31.8528) x 1.18 = normal damage x 1.50345 |
Sorry that is completely wrong it is +127% damage
so
normal damage x 2.27 x 1.18 = normal damage x 2.6786

That sounds about right. But feel free to get a 2nd opinion. I don't test that in the field. I'm a min art user. :) |
I will add soon a post about how exactly work "damages" like talents, enchantements, luck, critical (elf) with the huge help of Arctic of course.

For the EAWF enchants you get a bonus of 57% per art (1.12^4). 3 arts give roughly 3.9 x the base damage (1.57^3 = 3.8959... ~ 3.9). That you should multiply it with 1.18 (4.59 x base damage). |
