AuthorA question about size of loan.
According to this rule :
3.14. There are limits for transfers intended as presents or loans. Maximum size of debt that can be owed to all other players in total is 20,000 * [Combat level] gold.

If this player is level 11, therefore the total loan should be 20,000 *11 = 220,000 gold

Then, this player might exceed the total size of loan:

Please correct me if I am wrong.
PLS don't move this topic as i wish to understand the new rules of the debt before taking any further actions.
since you had given link and name of the player, the topic must be moved to caa - fo

Next time start the topic without pointing others to have answers.

Hiya,

If you are referring to the first page of the logs you posted -

12-02-10 19:22: Received 100000 Gold from Rorrim : loan for 30 days - 300k total
12-02-10 18:52: Sold item: "Master hunter armor" [10/10] for 6949 gold to sniperwood as lot #2008761. Commission: 69
12-02-10 16:28: Received 100000 Gold from Rorrim : loan for 30 days
12-02-10 13:31: Received 100000 Gold from Rorrim : loan for 30 days

them he's receiving a loan (from a level 13 player), and not giving one. :)
So he owes 300,000 gold to Rorrim.
As Maximum size of debt that can be owed to all other players in total is 20,000 * [Combat level] gold. his debt is over the limit.
Is the loan rule is considered for only one transaction or for all transactions in that level..!?
Maximum size of debt that can be owed to all other players in total is 20,000 * [Combat level] gold

Grunge
### Based on the Grunge told,

Maximum amount of transfers should be...

20,000*[combat level]

Here Rorrim is in 13th level.

Hence, he can transfer only 20000*13=260000...

But, from above link, we can get that, he had transferred 300,000 (>260,000) to the "Akhenaten"

Is that not illegal?? Dont take it as question.? It's just my doubt wether my calculation is right or not!?
Wasn't aware of the limit for loans, i knew about the 30% for gifts, i will have that fixed asap(guess i need to pay a visit to the rules page again).
Thank you for those that are trying to help, as for the others a constructive way of improving the game and ingame relations would be telling the players about their mistakes that might not be undermentioned. Not everyone is a cheater. All the best.

Don't think that is correct: rules 3.14 nor 3.15 mention any limit on the amount of gold a player can lend to another player.

You are only limited by the level of the player you lend gold.

Some extra questions:
Can a player get punished if he lends too much to one player?
What is the penalty if your (legal) loan pushes the other player over his maximum?
I will reask those questions in the correct forum.
The amount that can be owed to other players is (CL)*20,000. It means that a player can TAKE loans for up to that much. THis is covered by rule 3.14.

The transfers covered by rule 3.15 are transfers. It is how much a player can GIVE out as gifts - to all other players in any months.
It is not applicable here, because those transfers were not loans.
They were loans, not gifts*
11-28-10 08:49: Transferred 13540 Gold 3 Mercury to natav, Commission charged: 135 : credit 10%/month

The above transfer log has taken from below link...

My doubt is ... here the person has transfer gold, gems to evgeniysf..without comments..

Is this legal or not!?

-----------
next doubt:
In first transfer log, he had written some comment. can any one explain that the comment is against the rule or obeys the rule...

----------------------------
friends!!! is the complaint given by first person is right or wrong!?
..sorry for one more post.

I want to complain about the person & clear the doubt.

I want to know about the first person complaint..

So, i posted here.:)
credit 10%/month
That's illegal since:
3.21. Any banking and bookmaker activities are prohibited without exception.
Banking activities - granting loans with interest, receiving money from other players on deposit accounts, pawn shop business, insurance operations or any other bank activities.

---
These transfers are illegal as well since a player has transfered everything he owned to another player exceeding the 30% rule (which was still active by the time the trasfer was made):

03-17-10 21:11: Transferred 15500 Gold 4 Gems 3 Crystals 4 Ore to evgeniysf :
03-17-10 21:06: Transferred item(s): 'Combat staff' [33/40] to evgeniysf
03-17-10 21:06: Transferred item(s): 'Hunter broadsword' [10/10] to evgeniysf
03-17-10 21:05: Transferred item(s): 'Master hunter bow' [8/10] to evgeniysf

That's an example of your typical financial assist there.
as for the others a constructive way of improving the game and ingame relations would be telling the players about their mistakes that might not be undermentioned. Not everyone is a cheater.
And that exactly was done. 1g penalties is a standard way of law enforcement to issue warnings (you may call them "friendly advices" to correct certain flaws in their character management).
Rorrim, you have up to 5 more days to clear all excess loans.

Can a player get punished if he lends too much to one player?
No, there is no punishment for that, except for losing those funds (see below)
What is the penalty if your (legal) loan pushes the other player over his maximum?

That player will be given some time (depending on his/her combat level and total size of loans) to return the excess. If it doesn't happen, Empire will force the rule abiding by issuing a penalty for as much as the player owes in excess.
Pardon, I misused the nickname.
kommo, you are the one to have 5 more days to clear the excess.
