Author | Durability/ Ap Rule |
Not trying to complain here but..
why was the min AP rule created?
If someone could help, that would be great.
Gettin LG8 to buy my st00f ~[Yahtzee]~ |
It was created to 'force' people to sorta donate money to the game! |
Very funny coolahed, but I'm trying to be serious here. |

He is serious
If you don't wear arts to fight = no need gold for the game
No need gold for the game it might lead admin hard to earn diamond |
Good point.
So...
Ap=Getting gold=Buying Artifacts=Fighting(=Getting exp=leveling up=getting more Ap= Getting gold= etc?
Ah, I should see why we work hard to access one of the best parts of the game! And it is very well deserved. |
min ap created, so that you may buy arts....
and there need to be a difference between levels....
thats why min ap is created i believe.... |
Actually, if nobody wears arts, then nobody buys stuff from the production facilities.
If no-one buys from the facilities then there is no gold to pay people to enroll.
Basically, without the minimum AP rule, soon enough no-one would be able to enroll due to the facilities running out of gold.
The point was to kick-start the actual economic side of the game. Rather than just having infinite resources/arts available things work more on a supply and demand model, similar to real life.
It can be seen with the factories that don't see much activity, like the Staff Workshop (https://www.lordswm.com/object-info.php?id=36). Because Combat Staves don;t get used much, they don;t get bought very often. This means the factory rarely has money. Which means the production is very limited, matching the consumption of the artifacts produced.
Occasionally the Admins will tweak small factors like Wages, Free Posts available, Etc.

It really does come down to a breakdown in internal and external economy. Internal economy pertains to what we all "work" for. Without laboring, nothing gets created. Without buying stuff, there is no need for labor.
Keep in mind that this game is a "project" for the Admins... they are not out to make money. However, the option is there. People who donate acknowledge this. The external economy refers to this. The min AP rule really has little to do with this aspect. I highly doubt their intentions were to "force" people to pay to play. In fact, I doubt they see much increased profits since the addition of the rule. |
think again:> do u really think this game is still free for all? yes its free, but unless u are rou psy or cheater u cant really compete; no longer with ppl that do actual purchases. new LG rule makes it impossible to build up for normals!
its free to play, but its not fair, still its ok, just not same anymore, and thats the main realization of all this.
u want to enjoy game your way? well, dont expect being in top then!:)=
strict unwritten rules of following plans is what indirectly force u into something that was once called donation. |
The admins didn't really give a reason when they implemented it:

The general major theories are:
1.) Admins want more donations.
2.) The map facility economy needed the boost.
3.) It is to encourage players to spend gold.
I'm closing this topic before it becomes a debate. |
