| Can someone tell me how a lvl 8 dark elf can beat a lvl 8 knight without him having to go afk for it to be possible. Each time I battle one, when my shrews can finally get a shot on Xbows, the Xbows destroy my poor shrews. They have way too many creatures. 98 crossbows for 36 shrews, 16 grif for 13 lizzards and 9 monks for 7 hydras. Dark elves and alot of other races have no chance (except if very powerful casters + shooters). P-S: I know that all the knights that answer this question will find a reason to say it's fair. |
| That's just how it is. DE has a hard time with knight, knight has no chance against wiz, barb can kill wiz... |

wrong..knight can kill wizard easily in special cases:
talent , morale..and luck

No offense, but it was more of the knight's terrible initial placements more than anything else that contributed to the loss.
Imho, exposing his Xbows right from the start is taboo when fighting DE 1v1. Split monks to 2 stacks, and place Swords between the monks to form wall around Xbows. Shrews can't break through first turn even with Luck hit. If Shrews does Hit & Return, Xbows and Monks will shoot all shrews stacks dead after 1st turn. Shrews come near to stop monks from shooting, Swords and Xbows' Aimed Shot will kill everything in sight.
If both factions play to their strengths, and all things being equal, knights would own DE.. >>at your combat level<<.
Most faction have a 'nemesis' faction that they dread facing in battle. Maybe for DE, it's Knight. Just like Knights dread facing Wizards, and Wiz dislike facing Barbs, etc. |
