Author | Script Users Are Back? |
Just recently today, at 3 : 44 server time, I bought a Defender shield at the factory. My shield had run out of uses and I needed another one, so I bought one thinking I'd get to enroll as well. A few seconds later (2 or 3) I was about to put in the enroll code when all the gold was gone, and I had noticed an increase of factory resources.
Anyone face similar problems lately?
Cheers

That's more than enough time for someone to take out the gold.
You didn't even try to copy/paste your code in. |
Sure, i don't paste my code because i type faster than when i try to paste, because i don't normally c & p things. but selling a variety of resources is a different thing. It was both i think, steel and nickel. |
Here's odyn's case : https://www.lordswm.com/forum_messages.php?tid=1889195
you can see that only after 2 seconds, similar to my case, there was nothing in the facility. |
Hi Clemency
The illegal economic script users never actually left. However once the "family" the amount of cheating diminished.
As over 100 players (or toons) had the illegal script on RU when they all got blocked, it is fair to say we have more than one here.
And yes I have experienced direct financial loss even just a few days ago because of these cheaters.

I think codes will need to be used just to sell resources at factories.

bot will enter this code instantly vs human |
i don't think a bot could work out the code, not in the way it's written... |
navimegaman:
well, you are wrong. it's you who is reading this code, but a program gets it from browser. |
Well something needs to be done to nip this issue in the bud permanently.
There are multiple people cheating this way, and it hurts all honest players.

navimegaman:
actually, I think You would be surprised what can be performed by a simple bot, what to say of an advanced version of one.
i got bored trying to sell something, especially in east bay. it's like you refresh and it's already loaded up, not a second has passed. |
It'a called Captcha, not a code and it can be read by a computer algorithm very easily, especially this particular one, because it's really easy. You can even read it with a little photoshop magic and simple ocr software. So, implementing captcha into different "operations" won't solve anything... |
