+1. You can choose the number of creartures, stacks, and even arrange the opposition's troops yourself, after which AI takes over.
Service would cost a certain amount of gold. |

Interesting idea...what about exp and fsp gain? Would that be like in normal PvE? Would there even be any exp/fsp gained from doing an 'arena battle'? |
XP/fsp for practice would defeat the purpose, so no.
There would also have to be some limitations as to what creatures are available as target practice... I mean, someone at combat level 4 or 5 shouldn't have access to fight the same tier 7 monster that can only usually be found by fighting your way to HG 6/7.
Maybe limit it to the character HG level. |
I reckon that this would just be an easy way of getting xp but u shouldn't get fsp or any gold and it would cost cost gold to make otherwise

Training in the arena costs you gold, and gives you some exp but no fsp. Sounds intriguing :D
And would winning an arena battle relieve you of workaholic? |

No. Too easy. |
phfff. A battle in which I have to pay gold, gain no fsp, and gain exp. Not only do I waste gold, I also gain a very bad exp/fsp ratio. I would never join such a battle. On the other hand, if it relieves workaholic penalty, I would love to battle. Choose 1 skeleton/farmer, fight it, gain 1 exp, then enroll 11 more times. But since it doesn't relieve thw workaholic penalty, forget it. I see how this is usefull though, such as before a hunt, you could try doing this to see if you could win that hunt solo. Therefore, +1. This would be an extremely low piority though. |
