Author | Suggestion: Put a "Fled from Combat" count in play |
I'm not sure is this has been suggested before...
I have to say that this have been in my mind since I'm always met with players that went afk in battle. with this stats we can look out on which players that always afk and not joining them in a group battle.
It'll also make players think twice before going afk cause I'll make their stats look bad if they always flee from combat. In this way no players will join them in a group battle anymore. |
Absolutely agreed. Number of players going afk in battles are massive. And maybe we could make a list of them and thus we can help discourage going afk in battles. |
erm... what I want to put at the topic is actually:
Put a "Fled from Combat" count in statistics. |
O. That works as well. In fact, we should put a "Thumbs up" icon for players who are good. Therefore, it would make it more of a challenge to play against those players. (: |
And then you start creating and using infinite multis to just rate your main.

Thumbs up idea is BAD.
Statistics is...ok...I suppose.
Take note that once you join a group battle/create one, the battle WILL start NO MATTER who else join. For example, if you start a 3V3 GB and the 5 people at the TOP of the AFK list joins, your battle WILL start with them. This is true for all cases - as in your battle will start if you join a GB - unless you're the only one by the end of the timer. In which case you will be released from your challenge. |

most of gb will finish in seconds if we put such button bec in most cases 1 side is sronger than other specialy in random |
for ninja9:
the main idea is to create a count for fleeing from combat, but the thumbs up.
don't get mixed up.
for ChooJeremy:
The main usage for fleeing from combat (FFC) count is to let others to take note of some players that always fleeing from combat. Less people will join their game if they create, and if regular player sees a player that has high amount of FFC in a GB, most likely will refrain from joining such game.
for great_barb:
I don't get your point at all. Please rephase your statement =) |
Nice idea. +1
Bit miserable to minus this one tbh. |
-1 Bad Idea |

guys i want to give u all an advice even if someone goes afk how will u find it and if its urgent or a emergency for them to go . wat u do then u cant see all battles to tell whose afk so u guys shld make a clan for this. |
should also be in the most recent month. not of all time. cause some people afk cause of connection problems like me so they can't help it |

it might help |
how about having a "replacement" for the afk "button"? |
I did put up a similar suggestion when i was lvl 4 (i think),which obviously was ignored so i stopped playing Group Battles.(now i only play hunts, still i face an odd guy who will go AFK after asking for assist!!)
Here's the summary of that:-
2 Changes needed.
1st -- every player has an new stat- AFK % (AFK/battles lost X 100) stat.
Notice that here we consider the battles lost and not total battles... we want to highlight the players who go afk when loosing.
2nd and IMPORTANT -- while creating a Group Battle, give me a choice to set the min AFK % set meter ... just like i have a choice of choosing what combat level players join the battle.
SO for Eg. if i created a battle... only Level 7 players, with AFK % less than 98% will be able to join.
So This protects His 'Right' to go AFK( because sadly you have 'network problems' when loosing...lol) , and protects my RIGHT to AVOID HIM ! |
AFK stats is not a good idea in my opinion simply because there is no way to really tell when someone goes AFK on purpose rather than connection problems or real life issues. Somewhat of a middle ground would be an auto combat button. Simply, when someone goes AFK or doesn't want to bother fighting a lost cause (which I find despicable by the way), instead of dropping dead on the field, the game's AI would take over for him. Of course, the player should not gain anything whatsoever from such fights, but it would give a somewhat less crippled fight to the others that actually WANT to play this game. (I think I have suggested this in the past by the way, but to no avail as it seems). |

We will all afk a FEW times in our lives due to unforseen circumstances. Whoever afks on a steady, constant basis, should be easily spotted...unacceptable gaming behaviour to frequently afk on other people's battles.
Cheers,
