AuthorAren't TGI getting a little to expensive lately?
https://www.lordswm.com/auction.php?cat=other&sort=0&art_type=thief_paper

Buy now! 13,250,000

Honestly I wouldn't pay more than 12 million for a TGI! :)
Since no one actually has this kind of money..it is a useless lot.
Seems like he input too much "0". With one less, you get a TGI a bit "cheaper" than the other one.
Empire could buy it... She's not a thief yet.
Even without one zero isn't the price too steep. Honestly I would like to buy TGI one day but 1 300 000 seems to be way too much. Just wonder when the price will start dropping.
Funny to think of it... The Empress, a thief...in her own kingdom :) :)
Of course they are to expensive. Less and less people can buy them. And since there aren't many new people joining the game, the prices will have to drop some day...
or they will remain high forever and never get sold some people are stubborn and im trying to save up for one its going to be a long time

Then you must stay stubborn too :) Try to find someone who has the TGI, so you can get it.
Isn't there a rule about TGI's that they can't be just kept on inventory without any use, or something?

No, there is no such rule. When a player finally earns a TGI then it is theirs until they decide to sell it.

let me know if you found such rules :D
Wow. He managed to get it fron hunter for only 500,000. Lucky guy! And now he's trying to sell it, instead of using it. Hm.
07-16-10Received item(s): 'Thief invitation' [1/1] from -Radist-
07-17-10Received 1 Gold from -Radist-: Thief Invite for rent. For 5 thief artifacts.
07-20-10Transferred item(s): 'Thief invitation' [1/1] to hunter . Transaction price: 500000 Gold
08-01-10Received item(s): 'Thief invitation' [1/1] from hunter . Transaction price: 500000 Gold

always interesting what some players come up with :)
was it not illegal to rent Thief Invitation?
was it not illegal to rent Thief Invitation?

Not at that time.
wouldn't it, in theory, be possible to rent a TGI within the rules if there where 3 people involved?

Player A receives a tgi for 1 month from player B
After the month is up, player A receives a second tgi from player C, which are then transfered to player B to return the loan.
After the debt has been paid, player B transfers the TGI back to player A, as a new loan for 1 month.
Now player A transfers the TGI back to player C, and thus his debt to player C has been paid, and he has one more month to get to tg5, without exceeding the 1 month limit for a loan.
Keep in mind that you are only allowed to transfer the TGI for the normal marketprice. Therefore Player A would need 1 million gold to "rent" the TGI in your case.
3.33. The Administration considers it impossible to reach Thief Guild level 5 from the very beginning in a period of one month. Therefore, leasing Thief Guild invitations becomes forbidden since December, 01, 2009. Players caught in both dealing and acquiring TGis at any cost significantly different from the market prices will be fined severely.

it is not legal no matter how many players are involved
Not at that time.

I think we are talking about July 2010 .. so yes, it is illegal

Just like MG's, when thieving you can't just ask someone to help you out. So instead of assistance you need more AP, that cost more money.
So sooner or later the economy will dictate that you have to sell your second TGI in order to buy artifacts for MG's and thieving quests ;)
