AuthorSmiths & Enchanters Guilds
Hiya all,

I know that it takes a lot of gold to max 1 of these guilds, but I would like to hear the opinion of you people what you think is the 'best' guild to work on.

I believe (without any stats or proof) that the Smith (repair) Guild have the most number of players who have maxed it.

Given the Grand Update, and how much drastic increase of elements required to enchant something, is the Smith Guild still the best guild to work on?

We are talking about,
- Smiths' guild
- Weaponsmith
- Armorer
- Jewelcrafter:

So, I would like to hear from you people,

1. Which of these 4 cost the least to max?

2. Which takes the longest to max?

And the most important,
3. Which of these 4 is most likely to have the most demand from players for max service?

My opinion smithing will always be better than the rest.
1. Depends on the compensations you give for enchanting and the prices you charge for smithing. Anyway both cost much!

2. Since generally smithing has more demand, probably it takes lesser time.

3. Surely smithing has higher demand on max service. Just check smithers and enchanters logs.

i say smith has the most demand
Well, smiths usually have more demand for their work, and also they can make larger profit on it.
The cause:
-you need arts for every battle after 5th level.
- you use enchanted weapons rarely
- once you enchant a weapon, it remains till the weapon is useless ( about 20-30 repairs for higher level, well-enchanted items)

SG costs a bit more to level to max, however, you can ask part of the gold back from your customers. As an enchanter, you can give your services free, or pay for it, before maxing one branch. Then you may ask about 500 gold per element.. that's not much profit, compared to the costs :S
And the most important,
3. Which of these 4 is most likely to have the most demand from players for max service?

Obviously there is more demand for repairs, but Demand is only 1 side of the equation. You also need to consider Supply. There are many more max smiths (and near max ones) than there are of the 3 branches of enchanters.
Smithing is more essential than enchanting and enchanted arts as said before are repaired a dozen of times as its more costly to encahnt but enchanting has its own thrill i personally preffer encahnting that too weapon and jwell if you go all attack build or else full armor and jwell(jwell only if i play a wizz)
