Author | Initiative bonuses apply to hero as well? |
The initiative bonuses that you get from:
- thief guild
- racial skill level up
- equipped artifacts
Do they apply to the hero's total initiative, or these are increasing *only* the initiative of the in-field troops?
For example the racial levels table (at https://www.lordswm.com/help.php?section=10), says "initiative of troops". So is the hero considered to be part of the troops, or not?
Moreover, whenever I CTRL+left click on the hero in combat, it always says "Initiative = 10" (no matter what I have equipped, or whatever racial level I have, or thief guild). Even when I have basic sorcery talent set up, and hence would (in principle at least) boost hero's initiative by 10%, it still shows Initiative=10 for the hero.
Could someone explain that? Thanks! | I'm not sure about thief guild and artifacts, but I'm sure that every single effect of racial skill level up(attack, defence etc.) all appply to troops ONLY.
And, socery does not increase your initative, it only brings your hero forward in the race, allowing it to take less time (using the track example from Artic here) | No, unless if it was stated.
Eg.
Thief set:
+10% initiative to the character.
Master hunter ring of dexterity:
Besides increasing the troops' initiative, increases the hero's initiative by 7%.
