3.15. Large transfers for the reason of leaving the game etc. are forbidden. Presents must not exceed 30% of the monetary property of the character per month. Monetary property is considered: gold + seven primary resources (wood, ore, mercury, sulfur, crystals, gems, leather) only. Rare trophies, Thief invitations, etc. transferred as gifts are valued at market price.
So, if your friend is LOADED, he could actually send it to you as a gift. However, he would need to have about 1,6M gold in resources in addition to the theif-invitation to be able to send it to you.
Also, do remember 3.33:
The Administration considers it impossible to reach Thief Guild level 5 from the very beginning in a period of one month. Therefore, leasing Thief Guild invitations becomes forbidden since December, 01, 2009. Players caught in both dealing and acquiring TGis at any cost significantly different from the market prices will be fined severely.
These two rules seem a bit contradictive, and rule 3.33 is probably the one that has the upper hand. So, to avoid confusion, your friend should gather 2,4M gold and send you 800k as a gift, with which you purchase the TGI from him normally.
This does seem a bit fishy to an innocent onlooker, and you should probably clear all this with someone in charge of the rules before going ahead with any of this. Just to be on the safe side. |
