i hope you agree with me on new types of spells. these spells allow different races of lords and army to get stronger.
Rain: 20 mana
double the amount of elves' and dark elves' attack power and half their defense power.
Sunny: 20 mana
Double the attack power of barbarians [ally] and knights and half their defense power.
midnight: 60 mana
triple the amount of necromancers', dark elves' and demons' attack power and divide their defense by three.
and whoever you don't want the effect on:
barbarian-20 mana
wizard-10 mana
elf-20 mana
dark elf-30 mana
necromancer-30 mana
demon-30 mana
knight-20 mana

idea is not bad...but...it costs lot of mana...and mostly for necro...

Way too powerful though. I'm level 9. Fully arted up, I have attack +20, defence +18. Attack +40 would be just insanely powerful.
For races like demon or DE who have some no retal troops, who cares about weak defence? Your enemy is so hacked by the time he meets you it just doesn't matter.
At most it should be +50% attack, and still divide defence by 2. The 60 mana one being +100 is probably still a bit ambitious. It is a very large amount of man, so it may be reasonable. |

Insanely overpowered.
Imagine a lvl 14 DE, with about 40 attack full arted, casting midnight. If the DE has high faction level, the attack bonus would be even huger. Imagine a Shrew stack with 150 attack. If he has 4*10% enchants, then a ! single ! shrew would deal about 80-90 damage... (Imagine 60 of them... ) |

Technically Elves do alot of shooting in their attacks...which would NEGATIVELY affect their attack ability in Rain, not increase it.
Sunny Elves love the sun too you know. Possibly grant only a +1 morale to barbs, knights, wizards, and elves, reduce morale by -1 for DE, demons, and ofc Gollum "It blinds us."
Midnight is not a 'weather pattern', it's simply the lack of sun shining on a specific part of the world at one time. ;)
Maybe instead these types of 'weather' spells could +/- affect other spells. Such as "Stormy/Rain weather" would increase Druids' lightning spell ability - +10% damage while the duration persists.

When I read the first post my first thought is:
"What about wizards???" (Capitalized)
Then I read this:

You do realise morale has no effect on most of wizards troops in the lower levels, and during the higher levels, this spell would be quite ineffective.
Let's see: In higher levels, if the player has 2 morale, then the spell would take full effect, as if he has 3, then morale will reach 6 and morale cannot go higher than 5.
I also predict another bug where nightmares go next to a wizard's troop and the spell is casted, reaching a morale of (-3*2)=(-6), where nightmare's effect is multiplied by one and two thirds.
One more thing: for how long? Rest of the battle?
How about a spell that goes:
Wizards - 20 mana
Doubles defence and halves attack. |
so, uh, what do you think anyway? |
