Administration good fellows!
In the mixed tournament to lose more favourably!
On 2000 experiences of 2 abilities it is better than on 12000 experiences and 4 abilities. Now it is possible to go safely to tournament and to lose |
always is in GB's, to even up good vs bad :)
This is why I advice new players to play GB's and Duels up to lv 5 only losing, this way they will get most fsp/xp ratio :) |
But I then at all do not understand logic of administration. |

Isn't this just the most stupid games design ever? If it is so good for a character to get a got fsp/xp ratio then why did admins make the ratio better for losers? :O |
fsp:exp ratio is not everything,
except if u like to stay in the ur level but had the best fsp in that lvl
imo, getting new creature/upg every lvl up is the attractive part of this game |

well, i think it is. |
i meant:

just a simple trick like this will be enough:
winning = 100% exp and 150% fsp
losing = 50% exp and 50% fsp |
There's a very good reason that they made losing give more FSP.
If winning gave the best FSP, then people who won would keep winning, and people that lose would keep losing.
Then you would get cheaters creating multiple accounts just so that they could be on the "always winning" side.
Losing giving a better FSP to XP ratio means that if you constantly lose you will get better Faction Skill Level *eventually*. Winning means you will go up Combat Levels faster, but may potentially be weaker than someone who has lost lots, once they catch up with combat level.
But you still get less FSP as the losing player. So your character development will be glacially slow if you shoose to go the "always losing" path.
Essentially, the way things are set up now introduces a balancing factor. It also means that always winning and always losing may not be the best ways of doing things. A middle path allows for a good development of Faction level *and* Combat Level. And that's what most people end up with.

fsp/xp ratio is so over-rated. |

exactly :) |

I'm not sure i understand! Surely in any game, the object is to try to win! Why have a system that actually encourages people to lose as a good tactic? It's easy to purposely lose a battle if that's what you want to do, but you can't purposely win - you can only try to win - and surely winners should be rewarded with a good fsp/xp ratio, not penalised for being successful!
for #10, perhaps for some factions fsp levels are not that important, but for me, as a knight, my fsp level determines how many troops i have so i value it quite highly. |

+1. A good excuse people use when they got trashed "hey, I was doing it for the FSP", lol! |
"hey, I was doing it for the FSP"
What? But I WAS just doing it for the FSP! Haha.. |
Agree with Grunge |
I don't try to loose (not even for FSP!), but what can you do in a battle like this?
lvl: [14], [6], [9]
vs
lvl: [7], [14]

guess the system thinks demon lvl 14 is much stronger than barb lvl 14 |
for elenthil:
becouse it is? |
16:
indeed very strange, normally in this tourney there is never the same lvl on both sides of a battle. |
for MathProfessor:
Perhaps the system was very impressed by the success rate of a level 7 Wizard and tried to balance it out with decent opponents :)
I'm almost sure the win/loss ratio is taken into account in the mix, simply because the algorithm is already there (it has been used in the 6-way blindfold tournament) |
