AuthorExp less battles and ++
Hi. I would like to suggest a few ideas which I feel would improve the game. Forgive me if I am wrong.

1.The most enjoyable part of this game I found is dualling and group battles where we can have a fair fight with other computer players and use different strategies.They grand experience.So we will lvl up sooner.But this will give us a disadvantage against some players who rarely participates in any battles and only enroll.So they will be very rich and they will have a lot of money.(I have seen some lvl5 or 6 players with 8000 LG points)SO we are also forced to do like that(which is very boring).So my suggestion is there should be special battles(both group and dual) which grand no exp and no artis are allowed, only for fun so that we wouldn't get bored by just enrolling.

2.Of all the faction abilities, I feel that DE's ability is the least effective.Even though they can pierce magic resistance, they can never fully pierce any. Even if a barbarian and a DE has same faction lvl, DE's magic will deal less damage.And at higher lvls might is more useful than magic.At lower combact lvls,they have very few troops and druids& magis are very effective at that lvl. So other factions have advantage as DEs don't have a good ranged attacker and all other factions have good ranged attackers (demons have succubi at lvl5) and DEs have to come to the enemy and since they have very less troops they have high chance of lossing. So their ability is almost totally useless.So my suggestion is increase recruit count a little and modify their ability such that if a DE has 33% piercing ability, they can completely pierce magic shield of creatures with 33% or less magic proof and so on.

I thought that creating many forums at once is bad :)Thats why I put both here.About idea 2, I think,it cannot be put in complaint forums.It is for ingame complaints about players and so on.There was no other place to put it.Also I was a little rash and didn't read all the rules carefully.

1 is a good idea, but i think it has been suggested before
As for 2, well, it sould be improved, but not your way. Piercing every shield at faction level 9 is too good.

At faction lvl 9, DE can only pierce 68%.Also at higher lvls, it will be of not much use while other faction abilities will be still usefull.

But shooters can shoot any unit on the map and they can be covered by defensive units to protect them.But shrews cannot reach all the places and cannot be covered.Also they are very few in numbers compared to other factions.

2) Im not sure about this one. but I agree to the point that their racial ability theoretically may seem cool, but in practical battle is almost useless especially in higher battles. But if their recruit count is inceased, then that might be a bit bad too, cuz u may find that DE do pack some might at higher levels.
your idea make me remembered that an old game that i played..if someone here know GUNBOUND..this game got avatar on and off..yes if this idea implemented it would be good..no arts..no item...just your plain skills..but you need to think that some faction is so good even you have no art..for example knight..they have large stack of swordmen(guardian at higher level)so it would be an advantages for that if no arts on

I wanted to change ability of DEs or increase their recruit count bcause they do not have any advantage in hunts, MG quests, survival tournaments or any other kinds of battle. Knights have training chambers, necros have extra skele bows, wizards have mini artifacts and hunt and MG bonus, elves have favoured enemies, barbarians have magic proof and stun and demons have gating while DEs have almost nothing.

Will there be granted FSP or not?
No faction skill points or any other experience.But it will be counted in victories and losses.
DEs have shrews. They need nothing else.

Most missile troops are slow. Shrews aren't. Get a unit next to a missile troop (such as with Demons gating ability)and that missile troop is generally stuffed as it does half damage and can't move far. Shrews aren't limited like that.

Most missile troops have a range of 6. Shrews can attack at full strength to 8 squares.

To make this ability usefull, maybe their magic skills should be improved.
For example decrease the costs of chaos magic talents and maybe increase them for darknes magic.
Des already hold the top hunters spot, like literally, most of the hunts are with DEs

Yes shrews are very good.And DEs are somewhat equally matched in pvp fights with other factions. But in hunts and mercinary quests,other factions have an advantage especially elves with their favoured enemy.And in PvP fights with elves, what if they put shrews as favoured enemy,they will get a 41% chance of dealing critical damage to shrews even without using any arti or talent.And they have reduction in the cost of fortune talent.So they have about 50% or more chance of dealing critical damage to shrews. And Ancoritess and bowmen can be protected for atleast 1 turn from shrews.GBMs have same attack and more damage than shrews and their double strike will nullify the range penality. DEs special ability is almost useless and barbarians have magic proof and mass stunning blow.And their orcs are very powerful too.If their unit dies, ogres get enraged and if an enemy stack dies, orcs get blood lusty.
I read most of the posts about faction troop count etc.. and i got annoyed and decided to write before reading the rest, so forgive me if any point here has already been hit :P

1. DE's have small troops only because their troops are so good. For example, if you took a fight with 10 angels vs. 49 swordsmen, would you then say 'gee, there are way more swordsmen than angels. It would be more fair for there to be 49 angels as well'? (obviously this is exagerated but you get the point) de's can beat any faction if they use the right skills etc. it wouldn't be easy, but it would be quite possible.

2. As for saying knights are the strongest etc etc.. try being on the striking end. Knights bows are practically useless until X bows. They have low health and low initiative. A stack of rogues around 12 should be able to kill at least 20 of them in a pvp, elven bows can demolish them, and even my skele bows can kill around 15 in a shot... Swords are good, but keep in mind they have terrible initiative and even worse speed. I can fight a knight who isn't using spells with 4 vamps vs. all 49 of his swords using the hit and then next turn run if i get in a good position (assuming it is only vamps vs. swords and no chara's or anything else attacking) i would have a good shot at winning. Rogues especially can take swords simply BECAUSE they are not ranged. swords take .5 damage from bows, but meely simply whipes em out assuming you have decent attack. take the retal then hit and run a bunch of times from out of their reach.

*The reason knights have so many troops is to compensate for their low speed and initiative... furthermore, they can't even get a decent amount of troops without knight faction level..

and i just read post 18... i like where you say that de's are at a disadvantage in hunts... go to the top 100 hunters and tell me how many of the 1st place are DE.. in fact it would probably be easier for you to count how many of em aren't DE.. and theres your answer to that question.. other factions are at a disadvantage in comparison to DE's in hunts :P
