Author | New PVP Battle Type |
well here's the new battle description
-No timer so basically we don't have to w8 somebody turns
-We can move our troops and hero whenever we want
-But the troops and hero can't always move and attack... after it moves it have to w8 for a time depending on its "initiative"
of course morale decrease w8ting time by 50%
-there'll be a clock on each troops after moving, showing its w8ting time to move
this battle is for those who is a quick thinker and don't have problem with their net :D |
What if someone afks??Then the battle would never end! -1 |
like an ATB type battletype ^
I like this suggestion |
we just move...What if someone afks??Then the battle would never end!
dude when he afk
we can easily finish him
this type of battle is sumthing that we don't have to w8 for opponent turn
there only a timer for our troops after our troops moves
if they don't move... its their problem |
interesting battle, but it would need its own game |
that would make it impossible to move the killing stacks into possition, ranged fights will be the one who wins the combat, sorry I hardly see this to be a balanced game, but evolving it may help |
Agree with P3nnyw1se |
O.o just imagine chess where both players can do whatever they want, without having to wait for the other player to finish his turn >.< |

All 4 points of your suggestion are contradictory.
You first say you DON'T HAVE TO WAIT for somebody's turn. Then you say you CAN move your troops/hero WHENEVER YOU WANT. Then you say you CAN'T always move your troops/hero, also stating that you HAVE TO WAIT.
What is it exactly that you want to suggest? |

I get what you mean and I think it's great!

Great for quick battles. Sometimes it is good to use the timer to think out a strategy, but those games can be quite long. A no timer option would be awesome for those long group battles. I can also see new strategies resulting from this option such as purposely not moving as fast as possible and leaving your stacks in a ready state. |
if you met someone with sportmanship he would afk or drag the playing intentionally..and you can't do anything about it
currently we are having headache about those afker and intentional afker..please don't add more problem to us

This is like chess lol, i mean i agree with penny rangers would kill everyone, depending who had the fastest initiative.
BUt -1, to easy for range units, and for elfs because they have fast ini. |

So since this is a different battle, I guess the battlefield could change, so make it a smaller one...so that less time to reach archers=archers won't pwn everyone. |

Seems like most people still don't understand.
1.) This would get rid of afkers. Because there are no turns to wait, the non-afker can just move in and kill the afker.
2.) You can't drag the game longer by playing slower. You can drag it by using stalement type of moves in which you keep your stacks out of range of each, but you can do that in our current battles anyway.
3.) Archers don't have any extra advantage in this type of battle unless the players make instant choices in shooting while making extremely slow decisions in moving melee stacks. If players move instantly or move at the same rate for all their stacks, then there are no differences compared to a timer turn-based battle. |
