Hi all,
I was coming to this game 2 days ago, after 6 months pause, but I don't know if I stay, because there is one thing so incredible annoying and irritating and sucking so badly, that it's hard to express how much...
AFK players in group battles - it takes forever to find someone for duel battles and in the last 2 days I had about 20 group battles, from which I had on my side an AFK player almost in every one of them. I'm using artefacts, and I have to repair them or buying new ones and for what - just to loose another battle because of some AFK bastards.
Isn't there any way to stop this? For example give a flag to player which leaves battle because of don't doing anything - so propably because of being AFK. And if he has the flag, he can't join any battle for one hour. And if someone gets for example 10 flags in one month - he can't join any battles at all for the next month.
Or something like that. Maybe on the higher levels is it different, but here, on the low levels it is a real problem I think. It's very damaging for the fun of this great game - and that's the main purpose of this whole thing - to have fun.
And not to be stressed of some lazy, ignorant people.
Or if you have some advice for me, how to deal with the damn AFKers, I would be glad to hear it. | level up.. less 'intentional' afkers at high level (startign lvl 8 i met less afkers). | I'm trying, but when you loose nearly every single battle, it's just nos so quick as it could be
;) | Most AFKer is commonly at level 1-6 . And at level 7 it was rare to find an AFK , not so rare but sometimes a player who waiting for group battle to start is impatient and just log off.
So reach level 7 and above to prevent this problem to much appear on you. | A piece of advice : when creating a group battle, if you have to wait 15-20 min until battle begin, players can forget they joined a battle.
If you create a GB, just let 5 minutes before it starts.
Turn timer : set it to 30 seconds : players will move faster, you risk less seeing someone leaving.
Join a clan strongly against AFK players, and let only clanmates joining your team.
Good luck ! | I got really fed up of that too when i was at lower levels - i ended up just doing mostly duels - at least that way, you win if the other player is AFK.
It is much better once you reach level 7 and beyond - people AFK less and if they do, it is usually just because they lost internet connection.
You can level up quite quickly once you get to level 3 by joining the survival tournament - lots of exp! :) | Isn't there any way to stop this? And the players with a bad internet connection are forgotten again...
If they fight much with a bad internet connection and go AFK 10 times, then they don't get to fight for a WHOLE month?!
Much mentioned: not all players have the money or the means to buy a good internet router/connection.
About your AFK problem: if you find it really annoying, only do hunts and mercenaries guild quests.

This is a good piece of advice. You can also level up, there you will find less AFK players. | An idea practically by me-
If a player is defeated because of afk...he quits and his team members gain control of his units(50-50 in 3vs3 &full in 2vs2)..If he comes back then he comes into fight again...it an idea by me though...so that team would not have to suffer...... | The best way to avoid this is at your level is to join a clan with other players who are similat level to you.
The good ones will have an active clan chat so that you can talk to the people you will be fighting before and during the battle. In addition they will normally be more than happy to send a clan mail on your behalf if you want to fight at a certain time.
Also means that people respect AP and other restrictions in battle description.

It is important not to set the turn timer too fast. If you use less than 60s then you risk people who are really there not being able to move because of a poor connection and being kicked for afk when they are ready and willing to battle. |
