Maybe I'm wrong but I think assistance in hunt brings less points then hunt itself. I think it should bring same or even greater Hunter's Guild points then normal hunt. That way the assistant would also get something for helping (other than exp), and people would hurry to join in hunt when help is required.

No - as the assistant you get a max of 0.1 HG points. You are talking about fsp.
A lord can ask for assistance in hunting after getting level 2 in the guild. The assistant must be present in the same region, have the same combat level and at least level 1 in hunters’ guild. In case of victory, the assistant does not get any gold, but does gain 0.1 hunt points, up to 0.5 faction skill points, full experience and has a chance to find an artifact. The combat initiator will get the amount of hunt points proportional to damage dealt during the hunt. |

The maximum Hunter Guild points you receive for assisting is 0.1 ... no matter how many creatures you kill ... even if the original hunter goes afk and you kill the entire bunch, you'll still only get 0.1 Hunter Guild points for all your efforts. You do however, get more Experience and Faction Skill points for defeating more creatures. |

Why not give 10 HG point for hunt assist? Then no one would do their own hunts and "sell" hunt assists to others. The whole point of my objection is that 0.1 HG for hunt assist is already favored over doing your own hunt. |

You exaggerate. I meant it should bring 0,25 or 0,5 points, or 50% of normal hunt (not sure how much points you get). No one would "sell" hunt assistance for that much. I like to assist in hunts, but sometimes I hesitate cause I don't want to use artifacts (required AP) and get nothing out of it (I can get exp and faction skill points in any other type of battle, eg. in mercenary quest). 0,1 point is not very motivational. I wouldn't hesitate to help if it would bring more points. |
| I checked, you get 1 whole point for normal hunt. Assistance should bring at least 0,5 to assistant. Maybe 0,5 points each, that sounds fair. |

My objection is that at higher levels everyone's hunts get too hard, so players do less of their own hunts (whether solo or ask for help) and instead favor assisting only. In fact because of the hunt difficulty issue, a few mid-level players exclusively assist hunts and never do their own.

Well, to me it still doesn't make any sense to "buy" assistance because of 0.1 points and avoid your hunts. At that rate player would need 10x more hunts to cross HG level and I think at higher level that's a lot (eg. 10 000 hunts instead of 1000). It sounds better to request assistance for your own difficult hunt and gain 0,5 points.
But since you're high level player I suppose you know what you're talking about. Maybe I'll change my opinion when (and if) I reach your level. But from my perspective your point doesn't make much sense. |
I understand that for lower levels 0.1 points for assist may seem like nothing since hunts are so easy. But your suggestion would affect all players both low and high levels.
When you catch up to my level, feel free to ask for my help in your hunts. As long as you don't need me to wear more than min arts to win your hunt, I would love to help you in all your hunts. |
