For the demand side, aside from the stats, MH Shield is part of the MH set and the H shield is part of the H set. So for lower levels who need the shield to complete their H set, then H shield is more valuable than the MH set which is useless in completing their set. | plus there is a second option in the MH set for the left hand, MH dagger.
