Can someone explain that why did cave demons behave differently in these two setups?

3) Creature combat animation pack has been widely updated.
And also, in first combat, they are same as in second one. |
correct me if im wrong
when they see so many stacks stick together they tends to cast fireball(in hunt sometimes also)
But if they see lesser stacks they cast DR |
I think both the placements were pretty similar! In the second battle, they sent a fireball, and in the first one they cast DR! |

if you fight against army of demons, and you put only your crossbows in one corner, no other troops around, they still cast fireball.
I think they made the AI just a little bit smarter. |
yah they do
once i was hunting succubies and i tot they will kill my elven bowmen and ended up killing my EFKs
AI IS smarter then be4 |
Well, I can add one:

We both supposed them to throw some fireballs but instead they d-ray'd Guardians and Gargoyles. Which made sense on the one hand and was completely ridicuolous on all remaining hands (which were 3 in a hunt with assistance ,)).
My theory would be that if there is a unit with a certain amount of defense, they cast D-ray. It is not a good or solid theroy, mind you. Maybe there is even a randomising-function. In any case they are kind of weird *cough* |
yes, cave demons and lorekeepers are really hard to fight.. .sometimes fireball you, sometimes no. |
