A slim crocodile living in the Nile took a child. His mother begged to have him back. The crocodile could not only talk, but was also a great sophist and stated, "If you guess correctly what I will do with him, I will return him. However, if you don't predict his fate correctly, I'll eat him." What statement should the mother make to save her child? |
Well really, it seems whatever he says he'll do the opposite, but if she says that the crocodile will eat him, then the crocodile CANNOT eat him, because then she would have been right |
Google FTW!
She should say "You're going to eat him." If this is correct, the child will be returned. If it's incorrect, the crocodile can not eat the child, because that would then make her guess correct and the crocodile would still have to return the child. |
ok that one was easy try this one What happens if you are in a car going the speed of light and you turn the headlights on? |
Suppose there is a town with just one male barber; and that every man in the town keeps himself clean-shaven: some by shaving themselves, some by attending the barber. It seems reasonable to imagine that the barber obeys the following rule: He shaves all and only those men in town who do not shave themselves.
Does the barber shave himself? |

Does the barber shave himself?
He can if he likes, it nowhere says that he cannot, and moreover, he cannot "attend hiself (the barber)" so it'd be logical that he shaves his self out of those 2 options, but it doesn't say those are the only two options |
If the barber does not shave himself, he must abide by the rule and shave himself.
If he does shave himself, according to the rule he will not shave himself. |
He was faster xD |
ok if you're not gonna read what my posts says or listen to what I say in chat, I'll go with a female barber |
What statement should the mother make to save her child?
I'll bust a cap in your ass |
