Authortalent rain of arrow

I am Elf, and have chosen the talent "Rain of arrows".
But in a hunt against faeries nothing happend when i clicked on that button.
Is that a bug? Of can't you use talent's against your own faction?

cant use ROA on elfs

You can't use it on any elf creatures, they are not considered your favoured enemy.
