That is the faction skill formula, but for the spell power im not 100% sure |

please note that the racial skill only increases damage vs neutral units (hunt; i'm not sure if it's for mercenary guild too but i think so)
it won't increase your damage vs human player! To increase that damage you need spell power/get the talent basic/advanced/expert nature magic |
