i think it is more like:

"Hey you over there *hic* attack uh *hic* uh that um thingy"
Unit:
"psssss hey joe let's not listen to the drunken mad man and lets go hit that thing instead."
Joe:
"ok sure"
They precede to attack the other thingy causing you to loose the battle.
