Robai – superduper swindling
(I would first like to point out this is not a complaint but a question so please moderators do not move this topic)
Many of you know robai as an experienced enchanter somebody who does fair business quickly and effectively. As a 4 x 10% enchanter I obviously thought he knew what he was doing but I guess I was wrong here is a report of my recent dealings with Robai
Before the grand update I contacted robai to enchant a thief dagger for me I10E10A10W10 he said he would do it at a charge of 750 gold per each percent so 30,000 gold. I saw that would put me low down the waiting list so I ordered a fast service putting me out financially at 60,000 gold that put me near the top of the waiting list
Shortly after the grand update came I received mail from him saying he had introduced a super fast deal to his enchanting breaking his word by doing so and in effect saying if you don’t hand over 120,000 gold you will not get the enchant. I was unimaginably annoyed but what could I do? I had to take out a loan from a trusted friend to pay this service in hope it would get me the enchant and yet I was wrong....
I received earlier a mail saying that robai had now introduced a superduperfast fast service to his blacksmith and I was horrified he was now asking 6000 gold for every percent

And decided that now he was going to halve the order so I could get 20% only for the price of 120,000 gold !!
So he went back on his word upped the price after we had a deal (twice) Is this just appalling and unfair business or has he broken any rules?
p.s. I hope robai hasn’t ripped others off like this just so he can earn even more money (if so please post your experiences)

As far as I know he asks if this is ok with the rules. Morale says no, but I would rather wait for Her Majesty or Herald to show up for this case.
Second though, maybe giving people one more week for enchants wasnt such a helpful and friendly after all..Does everything good backfire? |
