Week ago I saw many enchanter with 3x9% ability gave their service for free plus goldback each %. But why at recent day they need to be paid for their adequate service. I think only the best of them deserve payment. Just like smith, only the best can earn gold from their service. |
it's up to them whether to raise the price or not. |
Well that totally depends on demand and supply. The 4x10 enchanters are booked for over weeks now, and this gives the 3x9 guys opportunity to earn some money for the work.
It's either a 3x9 with extra fees or wait in queue for weeks with extra fees. Obviously if a player is in hurry he won't mind the extra cost~ |
Supply and demand.
If they can still get customers at whatever prices they charge, then there is no reason for them to lower their prices.
I think only the best of them deserve payment.
Then you should boycott those who are charging too much. If the enchanters lose customers and can't get any business, then they will lower their prices. |
Why should we pay for 3x9% service if we can get 3x8% service for free plus 50k gold back!
Why ppl choose the 1st option? Why the 3x1% difference cost so much? |
others may wish to, it might be their friend, who they're helping out, or they might be trying to get the most out of their weapons without having to wait in a queue for it to be done, if you don't feel it's worthwhile to use their services, then the solution is simple - don't, noone is forcing you to use anyones services, use whoevers services you want, but there are no limits imposed on who can charge and who pays gold when enchanting YOUR equipment for YOU |
But I saw the 3x9% enchanter have many waiting list while the other one is no waiting list.
So its legal if I start enchanting with help of my friend, that I don't need to pay their element for my poor enchanting service? |
for darmogathel:
start enchanting with help of my friend
That would be a violation of
1.5.1. The Administration has a right to cease access to the service for users whose in-game behavior is a dedicated assist to another character or group of characters.
If your friend keeps helping you or a group of your friends, then he, and possibly all of you will be punished.
If you disagree with that 3x9% enchanter's offer, find another... Or maybe figure out why he has a queue? |
If I have 1x2% weaponsmith ability can I charge someone who use my service? |

Like for any service you can charge whatever you want. But if for example, everyone else charges only 500 gold per % (no elements required) for 1x2% weaponsmith, but you charge 5000 gold per %, then who use your service? You say your friends do of course. Then you and your friends would violate rule 1.5.1 because they are only using your service to help you level up your enchanting. |

Ok for example I have 1x2% ability n I enchant for free. the customer provide the element. It's better than he enchant himself. Still it violate the rule 1.5.1 ? |
Please look in here for pricing:

It only took me a minute to find that I could get 2x6% weapon enchant for 2000 gold back per %. Now who would get your 0 gold back for a 1x2% weapon enchant?
For example the cheapest ice crystal on the market is 9800 gold. Now if admins see you selling your ice crystal to your friend for 30,000 gold, then is this a violation of rule 1.5.1? If you were to sell it at 11,000 gold, then it's not that expensive, but 30,000 gold is well above market prices. |
for darmogathel:
It's a violation only if he continually does it....
The current market rate is that you do the enchantment, you provide the elements, he just provides the weapon. Your 'scheme' makes him provide the element, which is about 3k-13k above market price, so it is a violation of 1.5.1 if he gives you the element for an enchant many times.
Once can be seen as a gift and friendly support. Continual support is Dedicated Support violation |
He give me the element, but no! He get back his element on his weapon. I only get the EG points! |
for darmogathel:
But he is still "paying" about 3-13k more than everyone else. That's like a gift of average 8k to you each time... You get it? |
Ok. I get it!
But why ppl want to wait n provide all element to get 3*9% enchant? While there is an enchanter with 3*8% ability n he give 50000 gold back. Also he has no waiting list! |

1: 3% sometimes makes a huge difference when you are dishing out 2k+ damage
2: People always like better products, eg I'd want a new phone this year with marginally better performance than an outdated one from 2 years back~ |
It's a violation only if he continually does it....
If only it was as simple as that. :-( |

Its about 60 dmg |
Its about 60 dmg
Sometimes that's the difference between losing and winning. |
