in the above battle, i was getting into a hunt with imps, but when the combat screen loaded, there was another hero with me and some hobgoblins on the other side?!
i did not ask for assistance (even if i had there should have been no hobgobs on the other side). seems like our hunts were combined??
is there any precendence for it? why does it happen?
is it a bug? |

"From now on there is a poor likelihood of neutrals to flee until they catch up with another group of neutrals being under attack by a different Lord. As a result, a battle of two Lords versus two groups of neutral creatures, assembled randomly, will take place. In case of victory, the maximum for that creature type will not be increased; each Lord will receive up to 0.5 skill points and twice as big an amount of Hunters' Guild points as usual. Combat levels of the two willy-nilly hunt assistants aren't bound to be same."
It is not a bug. It is a rare feature of the game that was introduced 10 months ago. |
ok..what does In case of victory, the maximum for that creature type will not be increased; mean? does it mean that max exp will not be increased in case of suc battles? I guess FSP received remains same?!
and twice as big HG points sounds nice! :) |
It means the creatures will not increase by 30% next time. |
It is a bonus battle for both players, they get the benefits of the hunt (if they win) and get to fight the same number of creatures again in a normal hunt at a later time. If they lose, nothing is lost except the durability of their arts. I wish these combined hunts happened a lot more often. |
