i'm sure this topic has come up before but i cannot understand why not?!? i see only advantages to implementing this:
1-players willing and able to pay RL money can make more than 2500 for each diamond (i for one would pay 2501)
2-players unable to buy diamonds due to various reasons can still get them, albeit at an inflated price
3-this game would earn more RL money due to advantages 1 & 2, and whoever gets this money would be happy! |

Reasons why not(or reconsider):
1.Cheaters still have more gold in this game than normal players.
2.Diamonds are supposed to give a little advantage to the players that buy them for real money. With your suggestion this advantage is gone.
3.Diamonds are a way of saying thank you for donating from Administration. Donating is for the good of the game and server, not for diamonds. They are not supposed to be rare commodity for trade.
4.Least but maybe most important: Because Arctic said so. :-)
