I consider that there should be after 10 levels a weapon which not only adds but also takes away parameters... +Attack -Defence or on the contrary... Also + and - with Spell Power and Knowledge and still it is possible to change the initiative with Luck... It is possible to name this weapon as cursed... It can be got by plundering crypts... In general here it is possible to think out much, the main idea in that that the weapon was more various... Also it would be interesting to see the two-hands if it is possible)

Why would anyone use such an item?
As you level up, items are supposed to become stronger and more efficient, so it would be inefficient to use a weapon that reduces other stats

Description:
This large Battle Spear once was invented to defend cities against mighty dragons. Only the strongest warriors were teached in the use of this mighty weapon.


PS: What do you think about my attempt to create nearly balanced two-handed weapons? Are they too strong or too weak, too expensive? What do you think about two-handed weapons in general?

Isnt this basically the +1 Attack?

What do others think about the two handed weapons?
I liked them, they seem to be balanced :)

Also, I thought of something to balance out Magic users on higher levels. On .ru there's already a shoe like this.

I thought about two-handed weapon, but was not present to its sense to offer yet have not made even that slots were simply closed by locks at formation set and there was one picture as in Heroes of Might and Magic 3 (i play not much HMM5). Though this can superfluous and unnecessary... However it would be quite good to sell sets like one item. Here by the way too it is possible to think up much that... Recollect such sets as on vitality or on straight line shooting, yes it is a lot of them in fact... Borrow a little, and add considerably... Here that does not suffice small sets on 3 slots
And transformation of several things to one, it would be possible to make by means of occurrence of the smith in any location. Not for free-of-charge certainly and not instantly... And for each kind it is possible to make the master... For Hunter sets it is possible to plant somewhere the ranger, for thieves' set the Thief leader, etc. the truth sets while is not enough, but maybe in the future...
And about the weapon I to you here that I shall tell... I shall not offer the types because it is silly... I done not included into group of creators of this game and to me its code is unknown, and I was not engaged in balancing of this game... People will decide what symbols to write and what price to do...

To be honest, i didnt understand all of your text. I would interpret that it is about the introduction of two-handed weapons and the problems this would cause... But i m not sure if i got you right. Perhaps you or other Players could clarify this...

so i'll try by my self... I thought about two-handed weapon... so you played HMM3? there was such thing as blocked slots when you complete your set... maybe this is unnecessary, but it would be good i think... and also i say that there are not enough set in game and what is more there are no support sets... they take 3-4 slot and adding such things like +4 hp to unit or shot without range limit. so i thought about transformation of many items to one... it can be realize by adding special smiths at locations... call him as you wish... it could be old ranger who now how to complete your hunter set... for other set another master...
and in the end i said that it is silly to offer your ideas about weapon attack, defence and other... every one want mighty weapon... no one will checking your version on balance with game because there is to much of them. it is useless work.
so conversation about sets is the other topic but it is the way for two-handed weapon... and for everything that takes more then one slot
ah ok, now it is clearer. No i never played the heroes series. yes, more sets would be interesting. But it would be hard to balance, same with additional items (similar to talents).

The weapons i posted are just for fun, of course. no one will implement them (did this ever happen^^). Admins go their own way, but thats ok. i tried to balance them, just to fit the weapons to the game. Of course its useless, just for dicussion :)
