hi, every body says that best talent for lvl 7 is rally but with this i can only do 260-400 dmg(shrews), then i say, if i only had 24 shrews with battle fury would it be better?
also, for thieving, which are the best talents for me? | everybody is right about rally...and dont worry about talents...u have shrews at lvl7 | Both are close, but with Rally, you get more HP and 1 extra Morale, but Offence talents would benefits Lizard calvary more. | Let me do some numbers here for you:
Offence is +10% moves.
Leadership is +10% moves.
So they are quite equal.
Battle fury with 24 shrews is 24 x 6 average damage + 1 x 24 = 168.
24 shrews with average damage of 6 + 8 bonus shrews with 6 damage = 192.
So the damage done by shrews is clearly higher. More than 14% higher. Put the attack modifiers there and the gap between 24 and 36 shrews will be even bigger.
And I am not talking about the fact that shrews are the main target, so when you get hit, it is much better to have 12 shrews than 4 at the end of the battle.
Although basic fury/cold blade would give your other stacks an advantage, use it after you are bored with playing with shrews. Until then, rally really gives you stronger attack by shrews which should mean the main difference. | Leadership is +10% moves.
It doesn't, it gives 10% chance to get 50% accumulated initiative, so on average, it gives +5% moves. This is how i see it. | Discuss about your doubt here, it's helps a lot.

But my answer is rally. Like what Omega22 said, wait till your level is higher (level 8), pick those battle fury and cold blade talents. | It doesn't, it gives 10% chance to get 50% accumulated initiative, so on average, it gives +5% moves. This is how i see it.
Yes, sure basic logic of that fits, when we do the manual recount it is like +5% initiative. Offence is +2 attack. I would rather pick +5% initiative than +2 attack for most situations.
Also someone tried to count how this works, but it is much more complex math. It should be more than 5% per 1 morale.
In situation when morale boost happen, they go sooner and so they get one more roll and chance for another boost. So if the result of first roll was positive, you get another roll. It wont affect the situation too much while morale is low.
Imagine situation with +10 morale when every move gives you 50% boost. You will get 50% boost each time you move which will result in double amount of moves, therefore +100% moves with 10 initiative. Sure this effect is gapped at 5, but you see | It doesn't, it gives 10% chance to get 50% accumulated initiative
Also, when I think about it. 50% accumulated initiative = only half time to get your turn = double move frequency. Or am I missing something? So it still looks like 10% to me....Jeez cant stop thinking about it, even when its off-topic. | closed by Darkclaws (2009-10-21 20:07:01) |
