more hp than farmers, stun, good for taking retal etc etc
most importantly, they allow more training in your castle than farmers. Absolutely essential upgrade for knights. |

| Also I have seen few low level players who used the well with swordsmen. They used many stacks to take retaliation and stun the strongest stack allowing swordsmen to attack. |

Build it at once in level 5.
Recruits increase the number of all your troops. Recruits have more HP, Stun ability which is really useful and their damage also increase.
About taking retaliation, hmm.... sometimes recruits might ''accidentally'' stunned the opponent and leaving a ''non-taken retal' enemy' and this means the opponent still can hit back. :)
But, it's worth building the construction. |
