I tend to get some connection problems once in a while, so it happens that I miss the settlement of troops when I make ambushes. When I get the connection back the battle has already started..
This has probably happened 4-5 times and the weird thing is that I always end up winning the battle anyway. It looks as the battles are much easier when I don't make the troop settlement. Anyone ells who tried this, or is it just a weird coincidence?

I lost the last battle with enemy troop settlement like that, So the caravan should be easier.. It was just a lot easier...

that it was that "easy" was because the enemy's firepower was focused in one stack that did halve damage in melee |
