Authordelay curse didn't work
i casted delay on a ogre for 2 turns. But still its turn didn't change?
What was the reason. Is delay worth doing
Link please?
turn orders are based on creatures initiative, ogres and yours, creatures get their turn when they accumulated 100% (how fast is based on the ini parameter)

the ogre still got to accumulate 100% first before any of your troop does, turn order did not change, but in fact the ogres were slowed down

so yes, delay is worth casting if its powerful enough, or sometimes even 20% delay for 0.5 turn can make your stack go first too
If you wish to increase the power of your delay, you can get basic darkness talent.

If you are referring to the turn order in the ATB bar, then the order change only happens if your delay was powerful enough to overcome the initiative gap between stacks.
You may not see the effect immediately, but delay spell doesn't worth nothing, they will be slowed in the next turn or so. But if your delay spell is strong enough, you'll see that ogre will be kicked back from the ATB scale right at the spot.

Just watched you combat, and it is as above said, the gap between your hero and the ogres are to small for delay to reach it's maximum effect in ogre turn 1. Ogres have already accumulated close to 100% of their turn and delay only slowed the rest of their journey. As you can see after one turn the ogres are slowed dramatically, allowing your hero to overtake just 4 turns instead of 5 since the last takeover.
is delay magic very efective ? i hardly use them
one additional question on delay:

if it lasts more than one turn, how does it work?

in the first turn the victim has initiative -20% ... then it acts ... what next? initiative now accumulates normally or he got again -20% so -40% vs. the inititive it had without the spell?
for OndaNera:
Spellpower determines turns. 0 = 0.5 turns; 1 = 1 turns... 10 = 10..

Talents: nothing, basic, advanced, expert
-20% Initiative
-25% Initiative
-30% Initiative
-40% Initiative

for OndaNera:
the effect would be 20% throughout the spell duration
for warhead1:
u can see the spell working on creature by hold ctrl and click twice on that creature!
