| Legally all money in the clan treasury belongs to the leader if he/she chooses to keep it. Depends on your personal ethical standard if you want to return them or keep it for yourself |

I can't find anything concerning the procedures for clan sales or anything regarding who owns the clan treasury. And since Zyanya is a Keeper (https://www.lordswm.com/clan_info.php?id=7373), then I would have to say legally Conquest can do as he likes. |

There really isn't anything about this in the rules, but what I mentioned comes from Arctic directly. He was talking about it long back in the chat room and I remembered it when I saw this post so I can't really give you a link to support it I'm afraid. |
The rules doesn't limit the clan leader's access to the treasury, so he can deposit or withdraw money as he is pleased.
If a clan leader can sell a clan, he can do so because it is his property and so is the treasury as a part of the clan, that's why any 'donations' to a clan are actually considered gifts to its leader. |

From what I have been told from the legal aspect: A clan cannot own any property, all "clan" gold and items are the property of the Leader and whoever is holding which item.
This came up when issues about clan donations (esp for those that think they want to be War clans) need to abide by the 30% rule or not.
So the gold in the clan belongs to the clan leader and it should be factored into the deal of the sale if the clan treasury is to be sold with the clan or not. |
