| You need to find a facility which needs it AND has gold available and then you can sell to that facility. |
Check this page:

Click on Demand column (row:steel or leather). You will find some Production facilities, and you can sell your stuff there.
If they have no gold, wait until someone buy their product and sell yours quickly. Good luck :) |

| If you couldn't sell those steels or leathers away, it's because the factories does not have enough gold to buy it from you or when the factories are full of them (which means they have enough of them and doesn't need it). |
