I've wondering about this question since long time ago.. when my arts break, should i repair or should i sell it and buy the new one?
of course, for enchanted ones, the answer is to repair with the maximum efficiency i can get, but what about other items?
and i'm not talking about cheap items (surely sell and buy new one) or hunter items n thief items (its rare, so just repair it). What about shop items, like mythril longsword or maybe signet ring of might? do you guys have the calculation for this kind of items? i want to find the most gold-efficient way ;p thanx |

from Help:
Repair cost with any efficiency makes 40% of the estimated artifact cost (according to the prices of the shop), while worn out artifacts buyout rate is 65%, making you pay only 35% to completely restore a shop artifact. The guild warns that smithing is an art, and usually leads to money loss. Rare or enchanted artifacts repairing certainly make an exception, though, since you cannot buy them in the shop.

These two links should help you. All non-enchanted shop arts should be sold and bought new. Its cheaper. |
