| oh... you're not a ''noob'', because in level 5, elven bowmen is a strong range shooter so everyone will try to eliminate you first. :) |

| You should team up with other elves, then your chances are less for your elven bowmen being picked on. Plus elves work great together. |
| split your elven into few stacks, that should help you. |
for Moonhunter:
well, in my view, Play elf in GBS is harsh. :(. You can hunt assist which is very good way to gain HG and you will see the result later on.
Only exception which I can see elf plays good in GBs when you have level 9 factions skill point.
This is the 2 battles with Elfmoon. She is rock. ^^
